The UAE national football team kicked off its internal training camp in the capital, Abu Dhabi, on Monday evening as part of the international break, which continues until the 30th of this month. The team held its first training session at Zayed Sports City Stadium, led by head coach Cosmin Olăroiu and his coaching staff. The Football Association announced via its official account on the X platform that the team will focus solely on training sessions during this current camp, without playing any international friendly matches. It was previously planned that the UAE team would play two friendly matches against Armenia and the Faroe Islands on the 26th and 30th of this month, respectively, before both matches were canceled. The Football Association clarified that the current 'White' squad includes players such as Ali Khaseef, Hamad Al-Maqbali, Adel Al-Hosani, Badr Naser, Richard O'Connor, João Pedro Lima, Sasha Ivkovic, Khalifa Al-Hammadi, Leonardo Ameyiche, Mohammed Rabeel, Guilherme Da Silva, Ali Saleh, Abdullah Hamad, Mohammed Abbas, Mamadou Coulibaly, Eisa Fayez, Yaqoob Nader, Nicolas Jimenez, Yaqoob Al-Ghaith, Harib Abdullah, Ousmane Camara, Yuri César, and Bruno Oliveira. The technical staff decided to add player Suhail Al-Nobi from Baniyas FC to the squad, while player Marcos Vinicius Amaral Alves from Al-Jazira Club was excluded due to an injury he sustained during his club's match, requiring treatment and rest.
